Evelyn has arthritis in her spine, a heart condition and now has paralysis of her larynx which makes it difficult for her to breath at times. We will continue to watch her to make sure she still is able to do her favorite things, eating puppy ice cream, sleeping on the couch and watching for the postal carrier out the window. When she isn’t able to do her favorite things and her little tail isn’t wagging when she greets us at the door we will know that unfortunately the time might be near. The doctor said around six months so we are hopeful for that time frame and even longer. She just wants to lay under our kitchen table or on the couch and sleep the day away.
We are honored to be Evelyns foster family and are ready to continue to spoil that sweet little girl.
