Bella was found as a stray in the metro area and taken to a local shelter, where they said she was too old and sick to be adopted and they were going to euthanize her. Secondhand Hounds said “no way” and brought her into the hospice program.
Bella has been diagnosed with chronic kidney failure. She also has a dry eye condition that has caused blindness in one eye and decreased tear production in the other eye. Despite this and some other minor medical issues, she is the sweetest little girl you’ll ever meet. Her tail never stops wagging.
She loves snuggling with her mom, spending time with her family, getting tummy rubs, going on car rides, taking short walks around her yard, sleeping late in the morning, hoarding toys, and monitoring her brothers while they play and wrestle (Bella’s family includes three 4-legged brothers who are all rescue puppies).
