From the Foster:

Rocks is a ton of fun. He's a big, friendly, kind of goofy dude with a lot of puppy energy - he's maybe a year old, but the world is still pretty new to him, and he's fascinated with everything he sees. Squirrels, squirrels, squirrels!!!
We're still working on house training. He's almost got it - the only problem is that he gets so distracted outside that he doesn't want to go (even after a walk!), and then will come back in and have an accident later. He has been following my older dog's lead when she asks to go out, and his few accidents have been in the right place (near the door). He is great with his crate - he'll go right in and will sleep through the night if you want. I toss a Kong or toy in with him and he's good to go.
He seems to be a big lab mix, but the lab personality side really shines through. He gets along great with my resident dog, and is happy to play all day. Note that his play style is very much a roughhouser, so he'll need to find the right playmate. He's a little mouthy (which you would expect from a lab) but is easily satisfied with a stuffed toy.
