From the Foster:

Rogue is a beautiful, smart girl! She is totally house trained, she hasn't had a single accident since she has been with us. She is not crate trained but she has had no issues staying in her area at night. During the day, when I'm home, she is allowed everywhere and she has not gotten in any trouble so far even when I forgot to close the closet doors. I truly believe that she will be an excellent pet, she is sweet, obedient and loves walks (she prefers to go at a slower pace though). During the day, she is pretty relaxed and likes to sleep. She craves pets and affection but is also ok being by herself. She is fine with other dogs but needs ample time before totally integrating. She gets along well with my resident dog but a couple of times she was a little protective of her food and new loving foster mom. But, who wouldn't be? In summary, I wholeheartedly believe that Rogue will make an excellent addition to a loving family.

Through the course of my veterinary care at Secondhand Hounds it was discovered that I am hypothyroid. I am currently on a thyroid medication and prescription weight loss diet. I will need to take my thyroid medication twice daily for life, and future adopters should have my thyroid checked once a year with their primary veterinarian.
