From the Foster:          Hank is the sweetest, most lovable pup! His two greatest loves are cuddles and playing fetch with his soccer ball. He is very friendly with people once he is properly introduced, but he has issues with resource guarding (NOT toys or food) in terms of his yard and home from other dogs.  Because of this, Hank would do best in a home where he is the only dog.  We are currently working on this behavior, but the family that adopts him needs to be able to continue this training.  Hank has quite a bit of energy and would greatly benefit from daily walks and fetch outside.  He is a very bright dog and can follow many commands.  If you are able or interested, I think Hank would love to try agility training! Hank can handle being left alone for the day, as long as he is properly exercised.  He uses a bell to let you know when he needs to be let outside and follows the command “hurry up”.  He is comfortable with our cat but does play rough with him at times, so he may not do well with all cats. Hank is very gentle around our 2 kids, but because of his energy we still closely monitor him around them. Hank loves swimming at our lake and would love to have a large yard to run around in. Hank is a “power chewer” and loves to chew/play with his bones and toys.  He is currently very healthy with no major health concerns, but does have separation anxiety and would do best with a family that could provide him with lots of attention. Hank is a very affectionate and loving dog and would make an amazing addition to the right family. :)
